Circles & Ceremonies
Mother’s Blessings
A Mother’s Blessing is an opportunity to recognise and honour the huge transition that occurs with every pregnancy and birth. This beautiful, gentle ceremony brings together important women in the mothers life, allowing them to offer her love, blessings and nourishment.
Mother’s Blessings are planned with the mother and/or a close friend or relative who is hosting. They involve a little preparation with guests each bringing an offering such as a reading, poem or small token gift. The circle ceremony honours and celebrates the mother; blessings are shared, hopes and fears can be voiced. Beautiful rituals can include adorning the mother with flowers, creating an earth mandala, decorating the mother’s belly, making and gifting a necklace made from small token gifts.
It is lovely to pamper the mother, perhaps brushing her hair, offering a foot soak or a hand massage.
After the ceremony is closed and guests may share food, sing, dance or walk in nature together.
You may choose to include a workshop after the ceremony to make natural gifts which can be offered as a pregnancy and postnatal hamper to the mother.
Cooking and recipe sharing is another lovely activity. It can be a wonderful way to collectively share ideas and plan ways to support the mother once the baby arrives.

Pregnancy Circles
A gentle gathering, any time in your pregnancy to slow down and connect with your body, your baby and a loving community.
We believe pregnancy circles are healing and nourishing. Our intention is to co-create a growing community where we celebrate the strength within each of you, the wisdom of your body and the connection to your intuition that guides you through pregnancy and parenthood.
Held once a month in Lewes, these circles are facilitated as part of my work with the Lewes Birth Collective.
Each circle is 90 minutes and includes time for
grounding and breath-work
tea and treats
circle sharing (as much as you want to)
gentle embodiment practices
reflection and journaling
rituals to connect with seasonal energy
